sixcentz: What do you write and when did you start writing?
deal rfc: I write deaL RFC /TRAX STARS CREW...i been into graff ever since about 9 or 10 years old..but wasnt until 1991 that i met up with RFC crew at age 16 that i started bombing other things besides my neighborhood walls..

sixcentz: where you from?
deal rfc: Im from the NYC...i started off life in Bronx Hunts Point and ended up to money Making Manhattan..then Queens and Now im somewhere over the rainbow but still in NEW YORK..

sixcentz: What crew/crews are you down with?
deal rfc: I was known most for pushing RFC..i dedicated my self to that crew in order to make it large as large can be..i even used to just put up RFC by itself in early days..also In TRAX STARS CREW (_The Real Artists X-terminating_)..im also down with other crews but have lost contact over the years..

sixcentz: Would you consider yourself a bomber or a piecer?
deal rfc: I consider myself a bomber transitioning to piecer..while i was in transition days turning into piecer i was offered job as a runner for illeagal substance service..i could not refuse the money they were offering so i kinda gave up on graff for the time i was doing that..then one day after 3 years of doing that,i got caught..then i got 5 years probation..the 5 years is up this MAY 2004 FINALLY!!!

sixcentz: Who got you into graff?
deal rfc: Some older kids from the block i lived on during the 80 s sparked my interest in graff,also one rainy night when i was like 10 in 1980 s..i saw JOZ and EASY taking tags across the street of my living room window..after that night i noticed their tags around city walls or on trains when i would travel with my mom somewhere..i saw their tags again on highway on way to airport..i said to myself after that day i want to be as large as them or larger..i got to meet those 2 brothers as a teenager, by that time they were not as active as they used to be..but it was a moment i will treasure..

sixcentz: Whats your favorite thing to paint?
deal rfc: I dont have a preferance TRAINS ,PLANES AUTOMOBILES..even on bums!!! Trains and tunnels was where i had the most fun..either doing motions from track for hours on end,train after train doing bigg top to bottom outlines right on platform on the last car as letting passengers out of train..tunnel bombing..the thing for me is to destroy all things in my path especially MTA..

sixcentz: Who were your influences?
deal rfc: I have many influences..in bombing my influences are JOZ,EASY,JA ONE,SMITH,SANE,RD 357,CEEK 501,PRESWEET TR and many others but these guys made me say i want to have as many tags as them and be all city as well.
In piecing my influences are TOXIC TDS,EZO TC5,SHAKER 179,CEAZER TC5,REAS,GHOST,COPE 2,HOIST,SCALE,LADY PINK, STASH2 ..and my west coast peeps HEWS DVS,SNEAK DVS,REY DVS..LAST my personal graff piecing teacher / PARTNER IN CRIMES..TRO 5 ..from NYC,Lower East Side..

sixcentz: In your opinion who do you think is the most under rated person in the graff world?
deal rfc: Not many people know about the guy i think is most under rated but he goes by the name TRO 5..hes a few years younger than me but he was taught by some of the top oldschool grafitti writers turned famous artists in gallerys world wide..TRO 5 would do everything not just letters..he would do skylines,evil faces of creatures made up by him,regular old school characters posing,anything you just tell him and he would produce it..only thing with TRo 5 was he would rather rack food than paint..not that he had eating disorder but living in almost poverty levels...so drawing sketching was his only hope of achieving his dream as a gallery graff artist.

sixcentz: How do you feel about the graffiti that people are doing currently? Anyone you feel?
deal rfc: I really dont get around to the City like i used to now that i live 1 hour from city..so i cant really say what is the state of graff in 2004..I go to some piecing spots here and there and ive been seeing cats like IZ the WIZ,SAR,SACH,ZEPHER,FUZZ ONE,STAY HIGH 149,TRACY..yo its crazy to see these peoples still doing their thing in year 2004..i feel like im back in 1980 when i stand in presence of these legendary artists pieces on the wall..its an overwhelming feeling..

sixcentz: Any good chase stories or funny stories related to painting you wanna share?
deal rfc: Hell ya i got stories for dayz,i got chased all the time by under covers or uniformed officers....Story of how TRAX STARS CREW came into existance..
One Saturday afternoon in 1994 TRO 5 and myself wanted to do a Brooklyn line so we decieded on the D line..we bombed those outside tracks that lead to outside platforms..we was taking tags as high as possible so it would last longer..we were able to do this in afternoon daylight for few hours,then we must have been spotted by train conductor earlier and called us in to police over radio..anyways the thing is that we got to the next platform and we was killing the walls on platform,me being always cautions looked around for undercovers or uniformed officers..i spotted 1 undercover at top of staircase from the side of my eye so i walked towards my partner while he was killing the walls and told him in calm matter to get ready to jet cause UNDERcover is coming right now..we jumped into tracks as soon as 1 DT came down staircase and said freeze assholes..we split up and went oppsite directions on the tracks..1 DT came after me and the other went after Tro 5...i immediately jumped into tracks and crossed to other side of platform,,when i saw him climbing from track onto platform i was like aww shit its on now...i ran up stair case and crossed to tother side of plat form passing token clerk at station above..I repeated this circle 3 times and he said to stop and he kept telling me to stop he was going to shot..i said he aint shoting me..i managed to out last his ass and i was luck that a D train came right when i shock him off me..i got in train all dirty and breathing heavy in crowded train car..all while the UNDERCOVER was on other side telling conductor to not go ,he was a NEW YORK CITY UNDERCOVER OFFICER and i guess conductor didnt hear him cause they closed the doors on train and kept going..i got off 2 stops later and walked into the under ground tunnel in this station to clean up,catch my breath,turn my clothes inside out and change appearance..then i tranfered to another line and made it home safetly..
AS for TRO 5,he managed to outrun the UNDER COVER that was on his ass in track chase..what made TRO 5 lose that dt was cleverness ,,TRO 5 ran over a electrical box on floor ,,but he made it look like it was not there as he ran over it..and the UNDERCOVER must of not seen that that box was on the tracks..The pig triped on that box and busted his ass as he was chasing my man TRO 5..hahaha..Later that day i was looking for John on the block our peoples chill at and he was not there..i was worried...Later around 10 pm i get a call at home and its TRO 5 ,,hes like you i got away too..we was laughing for like 2 hours on phone about that shit..The day after we decieded on TRAX STARS because we were like TRAX STAR runners from Marathons ..exept we would always win the race..always...
